Homestead Housing
Disabilities often lead to poverty, and poverty makes safe, affordable housing difficult to find. Homestead Housing Services is leading the way in finding solutions.
Finding safe, affordable housing is sometimes a daunting task for people with disabilities. Homestead Housing Services (HHS) recognizes this problem, and is working to find solutions. By providing safe, attractive, affordable housing for people with disabilities in Kalamazoo County, HHS is helping people take giant strides toward independence. As a wholly-owned subsidiary of Residential Opportunities, Inc., HHS understands the unique needs of people with disabilities and the importance of a place to call home.

Rest Easier
HHS works with each individual one-on-one to find solutions. Rent for each home is tailored to meet individual circumstances; rent is established based upon HUD low-income housing guidelines. The result is that other disability funds are freed to use on other necessities. This means you can rest easier, and do so in the comfort of a safe, affordable home.
