Residential Opportunities, Inc. Our Mission
Home Health Aid

We help families stay together by acting as role models, mentors, teachers, and friends.

The ROI home health aid program provides in-home support to families caring for children with various medical and behavioral challenges. The role and responsibility of each individual staff person is defined by the needs of the child and the family. ROI home health aides partner with families to assist both children and adults in realizing a variety of goals, ranging from learning to dress independently to learning to prepare simple meals. We act as role models, mentors, teachers, and friends to the individuals with whom they work.

Big Dreams. Small Steps.
ROI is committed to helping families stay together. At ROI, we believe that everyone should be given an opportunity to participate in the community and at home as fully as they are able. We understand that big dreams are realized in a series of small steps. Our goal is to support individuals as they develop new skills, improve existing ones and work towards achieving their goals and aspirations.

Helping Families

In addition to providing assistance with a variety of things, ranging from personal care to implementing behavior plans, you can trust that we will always provide an encouraging and friendly hand for those we serve. .

Dedicated, Quality Staff
ROI offers staff who are well supervised and trained in the areas of CPR, First Aid, Medication Administration, Behavior Management, person centered planning and much more. Every member of the ROI staff undergoes a criminal history background check and driving record check. Our staff is dedicated, committed to providing quality services and eager to help meet the needs of the families we serve.

Flexible Scheduling
ROI’s Supported Living program is well-known in western Michigan for quality, safety, and caring. We’ve earned both a reputation in our community and accreditation from CARF, the Rehabilitation Accreditation Commission. More than just people who "stop by", we are at-home care professionals.

Extra Hands
Individuals with extraordinary needs have families with extraordinary needs. We understand this. Parents caring for a child at home assume the roles of teacher, doctor, nurse, advocate, therapist, and friend. For them time is a luxury. We understand this, as well. For parents searching for the time to fix dinner, schedule appointments, or just sit down for five minutes of uninterrupted time, there is tremendous value in having someone to read to their child, and immense relief when there is an extra pair of hands to assist in the evening routine. That’s where we come in.
