Accounting Technician

Full-time position to provide technical assistance to the Finance department. Qualifications for the position include: an associate degree in Accounting or equivalent work experience with high school diploma or GED, knowledge of accounting procedures and practices, proficiency in Excel, and the ability to work independently. Duties include: billing, accounts receivable, property accounting, and assisting with payroll. Applicants with non-profit organization and QuickBooks experience preferred. Post-training hourly wage $10.19 - $11.25 depending on experience. Application deadline is 2/8/08.

Direct Support Professionals

Residential Opportunities, Inc., is seeking qualified, entry-level staff for long-term, direct care work to help individuals with developmental and physical disabilities lead full and rewarding lives. Working with people with disabilities is rewarding work. It often leads to long-term relationships that enrich the lives of both people for years to come. Second and third shift, full and part-time positions available in:

Supported Living Services: working with adults with disabilities living in their own homes.
Home Health/Respite Services: working with children with disabilities and their families in the Kalamazoo area.
Group Home Service: working with adults with disabilities living in residential group home settings.

Ability to work independently and experience a plus, additional training provided. Pre-training hourly wage begins at $7.62; Post-training and placement, wages increase 10%.
